About this campaign

The population of the South subregion of Sydney, which includes Sutherland Shire, is projected to grow by more than 154,700 people over the next 20 years.
While the South will continue to grow at a slower rate compared with Sydney as a whole, this growth in population will continue to create a push for more homes, more cars, more of all the facilities we associate with modern life.
It is important that all voices are heard in the planning debate, including the quiet voice of our natural environment.

Save Our Shire is a group of Sutherland Shire residents concerned about excessive rezoning proposals in Sutherland Shire Council’s new SSLEP 2015.
