Sutherland Shire Environment Centre AGM 2024
29 September , 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The Board of the Sutherland Shire Environment Centre invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be held in person in the Southern Cross Room at Tradies Gymea, 57 Manchester Road Gymea. Please arrive at 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
We’re also delighted to announce that, following the official AGM business, our guest speaker Jeff Angel will be giving a presentation. Jeff has beenthe Executive Director of the Total Environment Centre since 1995 and is one of Australia’s leading environmental campaigners. Softly spoken, diplomatic and scrupulous, Jeff is famous for both his uncompromising integrity and his ability to reconcile people and interest groups with no apparent common ground for the good of us all.
As part of our general AGM business we’ll be announcing the winners of the RD Walshe Writing For the Environment Prize. The topic for the Writing Award this year was Through the Eyes of Nature
Following the AGM, members and friends are welcome to stay on for a chat and to share a drink and / or meal.

Our members allow us to increase the effectiveness of our advocacy on behalf of the environment, and a more sustainable future.
