Congratulations to the team at Arete Organics for being a finalist in the Sutherland Shire Environment Centre’s Sustainability Award, presented at the Local Business Awards on 22 August.
Arete Organics is Australia’s first wholefood store and cafe to be completely non GMA and 100% organic.
As well as making environmentally-friendly food and products available to customers, Arete also
- uses glass containers and bottles
- uses paper bags
- composts coffee bean grounds and other organic materials
- discounts drinks when customers provide their own coffee mugs.
