1. Cultivating Murder (August 2, 7pm, Hazelhurst Theatrette)

A must-watch tale of politics, greed and farming – and it isn’t over yet.

Cultivating Murder tells the heart-rending story of the murder of Glen Turner, an Environment and Heritage officer gunned down in 2014 beside a public road near Moree, NSW. Turner was investigating illegal land clearing when he was murdered. How has the NSW Government responded to this lawless attack on their frontline officer? (Filmmaker: Gregory Miller)

2. An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (August 10, 6pm, Cronulla Cinema)

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power documents Climate Reality Founder and Chairman Al Gore’s fight to solve the crisis as he travels the Earth, witnessing a planet transformed by rising temperatures and inspiring the next generation of citizen activists trained as Climate Reality Leaders.

3. Guarding the Galilee (August 17, 7pm, Hazelhurst Theatrette)

Inside the fight to stop Adani coal. Presented by Michael Caton, this 30 minute documentary traces the battle to stop Adani: Australia’s biggest-ever coal mine.
