Shire Ride : Sutherland to Kurnell

Let’s join St George Bicycle User Group as they ride from Sutherland to Kurnell.
Ride to Kurnell via Taren Point and check out the new pathway near Woolooware Shores with morning tea at Kurnell Post Office. Continue riding to Bass and Flinders Lookout at Cronulla before returning to Sutherland along the inland route from Cronulla via Miranda / Gymea / Kirrawee. The ride is mostly on road with some off road sections with some traffic but mostly in quiet back streets.
Ride Distance: Approx 50 km
Optional : leave ride at Cronulla High School either on the way out or on the return. If you are unsure of how to get to Cronulla station we will send a guide with you 🙂
The purpose of the rides are to enourage more cycling in the Shire by becoming more familiar with local routes. We are aiming for a small group (max 15). Our route is far away from Kingsway and President Avenue, but takes you close to useful destinations such as schools and shops.
A great opportunity to make new friends, and get more comfortable on your bike.
Pleasse ensure your bike is roadworthy (tyres pumped, brakes working), that you have a helmet and turn up 15 minutes before the start time to ensure an efficient get-away.
