Shire Rides 5 – Oatley Park

This month we thought we might be brave and venture outside the Shire.
We will ride from Sutherland to Oatley, across Como Bridge, using a mix of shared paths, bicycle lanes and low trafficked streets.
We will do a lap of Oatley Park, enjoy the scenery and have a coffee in Oatley before returning home via the same route. A total of around 20km.
Please note that while the route to Oatley is basically all downhill, there are significant uphill sections on the return. (The train back to Sutherland from Oatley is always an option. No trackwork is scheduled for this weekend.)
REGISTRATION THROUGH EVENTBRITE IS ESSENTIAL.
Shire Rides is an initiative of Sutherland Shire Environment Centre. Come and join us. It will be a friendly ride at a leisurely pace.
The purpose of the rides is to enourage more cycling in the Shire by becoming more familiar with local routes. We are aiming for a small group (max 15).
A great opportunity to make new friends, and get more comfortable on your bike.
