Garie is such a beautiful beach, situated in the middle of the Royal National Park, but it seems that sadly, a lot of debris is also washing up on the beach. The Sea Shepherd Australia - Marine Debris Campaign Sydney team have now arranged a beach clean up at Garie in February. Save the Bay Coalition (Save Yarra Bay Coalition) is holding an on-water flotilla and beach event calling for the NSW Government to halt plans to build a cruise terminal in Botany Bay.
