Birding walk, Royal National Park

This walk is hosted by Friends of the Royal National Park, but numbers are limited. This may book out quickly. If they receive more than 12 registrations they might organise a second birdwalk.
The walk will go south along the iconic coast track, from Wattamolla, perhaps as far as Curracurrong (Eagle Rock) ….around 8km return. Extraordinary scenery and a terrific birding walk.

Australia’s Native bees

If you are curious about Australian native bees, this free online zoom presentation hosted by National Parks Association Southern Sydney will be of interest. Dr Tim Heard is an expert entomologist and science communicator. He’ll be discussing the beauty and diversity of Australia’s native bees, from solitary bees to stingless bees that can be kept in hives and produce honey. He will also outline what you can do to support bee habitat.
