Sutherland Shire Environment Centre is a small non-profit organisation and our members, all volunteers, advocate on behalf of the environment in the area they care about and love. We work with, and aim to support individuals and groups seeking to improve our environment and encourage sustainable living.
There’s a wide range of campaigns and projects we are involved in, environmental education, sustainable living, reducing plastics pollution, and protecting the Shire from other environmental threats. People who are involved in the Centre have a range of skills and our members undertake a range of activities – writing submissions and reports, graphic design, conducting beach cleanups, holding stalls and other events, lobbying various tiers of government in relation to environmental concerns, climate change, overdevelopment, and sustainability.
If you are keen to offer your support we would welcome your involvement and help.
